How can Macarons help Children in Need – why Pudsey, of course!

As always, this year, we decided to give a donation to the brilliant Children In Need charity which does such good work for children who are less lucky in life’s gift. The charity helps many different organisations that aim to help make these children’s lives run more smoothly and enable them to enjoy life when at times, it can be very tough indeed. Areas covered are very diverse and can be anything from having lost a parent, being a carer at a young age for a parent, mental health issues and many many more besides.  Since 1980 it has raised over £600 million for disadvantaged children and young people in the UK all with the help of the little bear.

Children in Need – 2017

So this year we decided to make some Pudsey Macarons and these were sold through Farndon Fields Farm Shop in East Farndon. We donated 30p to Children in Need for every macaron sold and the Farndon Fields Farm shop matched our donation. Happily the macarons sold out very very quickly so we were able to make a donation of £40 to Children in Need this year, which will have been at least, matched by Farndon Fields Farm Shop between East Farndon and Market Harborough.

Pudsey Love!

Pudsey lent himself well to the Macaron and we know, by the demand shown this year, that we shall be doubling, at least, our numbers made and sold next year for this fabulous cause so don’t forget to keep a look out for them when next November comes around and hopefully in a couple of other outlets too.

So a big thank you to Pudsey for all that Pudsey love, you yet again pulled out all the stops and helped us to help some of these youngsters who deserve a better time!
